The Gary S. Smith School of Real Estate
was founded in 2006 and offers a full and complete curriculum
of real estate coursework. It is located in the central
part of Mississippi on Lakeland Drive in Flowood, Mississippi.
The Gary S. Smith School of Real Estate offers state-of-the-art
technology with instructors having over 50 years experience
in teaching. Dr. Phil Odom instructs the Post-License course
with Gary S. Smith. The Pre-License course is instructed
by State Approved Instructors.
The curriculum provides the student with a broad range
of studies, ranging from real estate finance and law to
marketing techniques. The emphasis is placed on how to get
listings, for sale by owners, conducting open houses, hosting
realtor open houses, maintaining agency relationships, inspetions,
using the MLS, listing a home, and writing contracts.
